Emotional Sobriety- A Welcoming Wellness Community
Every Thursday at 5pm (Except July 4)
The Kraken's Cup has partnered with Sober in Knoxville to create a safe and accepting environment for their North Knoxville meetups.
It doesn't take much for life to throw things our way that can easily cloud us from recognizing our true potential.
Auto-pilot becomes our default and we are once again left asking, "Why did I say or do that?"
How do we begin to respond instead of react?
How do we break the cycles that we feel may be holding us back?
Emotional sobriety is being comfortably present with all of your feelings without any one of them defining or controlling you. It’s about being able to ride the waves of life without using harmful coping mechanisms to escape. This community is for everyone who has a desire to improve their relationship with themselves and the world around them.
Together, we can help one another grow in our daily practice of emotional sobriety and create a supportive environment for all.
*The Kraken’s Cup sells kombucha. Kombucha contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV), which is considered a non-alcoholic beverage.
Please be aware of these products as it relates to your own sobriety journey & do not attend these meetings if being exposed could affect you negatively.
If you have questions, please contact soberinknoxville@gmail.com !

Meet the Author -Michael Westmoreland
Dec 29. 2024 12p-2p
“An ancient legacy. A new war.
Witness the power of a true Osirian as Michael’s epic fantasy series continues with Sons of Osiris: Regicide.”
Join us as we welcome local author Michael Westmoreland for the release of his new book, Sons of Osiris!
"My name is Michael Westmoreland. I've been a writer for over a decade now, specializing in the Dark Fiction, Epic Fantasy, and Horror genres. I owe much of my writing abilities to my parents, who both pursued high levels of education and taught French and English as high school teachers. I am an alumni of the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, and I am currently working toward a Master's degree in Publishing from Rosemont College.
From the time I put pen to paper to create what would eventually become the first draft of my first book to publishing said book ten years later, I've always aimed myself at becoming a better writer, linguist, communicator, and editor. There's little on this earth I love more than literature. However, my family will always come first.
My books reflect my personal experiences, as I believe most artists' works do. Hopefully, you'll find as much enjoyment out of them as I did when I wrote them."
Your ticket includes a guaranteed seat and Power T-ea (delicious house-made scone with accompaniments, paired with your choice of tea).
Additional food and drink will be available for purchase once you are seated.
Limited seating - $10 per guest
