Daylight Savings          - Spring Forward  March 8th, 2026 Spring Forward & Plan Ahead Don't forget that Daylight Savings begins on March 8th (adjust your clocks so you don't miss your reservations!). As the days get longer, our weekend reservations are filling up faster than ever. A Friendly Tip: If you are looking for a more serene experience, our Wednesday through Friday lunch and tea service is the best-kept secret in Fountain City. These mid-week slots offer a peaceful atmosphere and are perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends or finishing a good book.  Busy Day Reminders As we continue to reach maximum capacity on many of our dates, please keep our "Busy Day" guidelines in mind: Arrival: Your entire party must be present to be seated. We offer a 10-minute grace period before needing to reschedule. Durations: Table pacing varies based on party size (1.5–3 hours for Afternoon Tea and 45 minutes–1.5 hours for Lunch).   CLICK HERE to reserve your seat!

Seasonal Sips & St. Patrick’s Sweets  While we won't be hosting a specific event for St. Patrick’s Day (since it falls on a Tuesday), we are still celebrating! Throughout the month of March, keep an eye out for St. Patrick’s Day-themed treats appearing on our Afternoon Tea trays. World Tea Expo in Las Vegas March 22-25th, 2026 Our owner will be traveling out west to the World Tea Expo during the middle of March (which is why our event calendar seems a little light this month)!  We are on a mission to bring back the most unique leaves, innovative brewing techniques, and exciting new pairings for our Knoxville family. Annual Fountain City           Easter Egg Hunt March 28th, 2026 @10a-12p We love our local traditions! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Fountain City Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28th. While we aren’t officially participating in the hunt this year, we highly recommend heading over to the park to support this wonderful neighborhood event.

Emotional Sobriety- A Welcoming Wellness Community

Every Thursday at 5pm 

The Kraken's Cup has partnered with Sober in Knoxville to create a safe and accepting  environment for their North Knoxville meetups.

It doesn't take much for life to throw things our way that can easily cloud us from recognizing our true potential.
Auto-pilot becomes our default and we are once again left asking, "Why did I say or do that?"

How do we begin to respond instead of react?
How do we break the cycles that we feel may be holding us back?

Emotional sobriety is being comfortably present with all of your feelings without any one of them defining or controlling you. It’s about being able to ride the waves of life without using harmful coping mechanisms to escape. This community is for everyone who has a desire to improve their relationship with themselves and the world around them.

Together, we can help one another grow in our daily practice of emotional sobriety and create a supportive environment for all.

*The Kraken’s Cup sells kombucha. Kombucha contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV), which is considered a non-alcoholic beverage.

Please be aware of these products as it relates to your own sobriety journey & do not attend these meetings if being exposed could affect you negatively.

Read It and Steep Book Club

Every third wednesday at 11am (unless otherwise noted)

Do you have a passion for both books and tea?

So do we!

We are excited to tell you all about our book club, “Read it and Steep!”

Join us once a month on the third Wednesday at 11 AM to enjoy tea while discussing our current book selection. Our reading list will feature titles from various genres, each incorporating tea in some way. The tearoom owner will enhance our gatherings by providing samples of the featured teas alongside interesting facts and details about each brew.

Tickets will be available through Tock Reservations. For just $10 (+ tax), your ticket guarantees a seat, a house-made scone with accompaniments (gluten-free/Vegan scones are available for an additional charge), and a selection of teas chosen accompany the reading. Our full menu will also be accessible during the meeting for anyone interested in lunch or a delightful snack. Gratuity is not included, so please remember to tip your server if you receive exceptional service.

Only 12 seats are available for each meeting, and attendance is flexible—feel free to join us whenever you can to enjoy the books, tea, and camaraderie.

How Do YOU Brew? - Tea Tasting Workshop

Discover the diverse techniques and vessels for brewing tea. The class will delve into "Eastern" versus "Western" brewing methods, discuss the significance of time and temperature in crafting the ideal cup, and examine different tea brewing and serving vessels from across the globe. Your ticket covers a delicious assortment of tea and cookies provided during the session, worksheets, and a brewing guide to take home with you.

Tea and Honey:  A Bee-U-Tea-ful Combination

Everyone was a-buzz when our last honey and tea workshop sold out, so we're doing it again!!

Join us in welcoming back Tennessee Master Beekeeper and proprietor of A Peach Tree Apiary, Tracy Dolan, for a mouthwatering tasting of honeys from near and far.

Tracy will "spill the tea" on what really goes on in a hive, how the bees go about making honey,

when bees decide to commit treason, and even how bees will dance battle to decide where to live. After a lively

discussion of bees and beekeeping you will get to taste several varieties of honey, one of nature’s greatest delicacies.

Enjoy a guided honey tasting and learn why this sweet treat is one of the most faked foods on the planet, why buying

local matters, and find out why honey might not be the ideal sweetener for your tea, or is it? Join us to find out all this

and much more.

Spilling the Tea with Lady Whistledown - A Bridgerton Inspired Event

Beautifully Broken - The Japanese Art of Kintsugi

Join us as we welcome back Transformance Art for this amazing Kintsugi workshop.

Transformance Art is local non-profit dedicated to empowering innovative arts initiatives that enable individual and collective wellness through relevant fine arts experiences,

During this event, we will explore the art of healing, both in ceramics and in ourselves. Discover how the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi transforms broken pottery into golden works of art, symbolizing resilience and the beauty of imperfection. This is an opportunity to embrace your own 'cracks,' recognizing that our experiences transform us into a unique work of art. Learn to see healing as an act of creation and leave with a tangible reminder of your own strength.

Tickets will include all materials, a selection of tea, and delicious homemade butter cookies.
